Insane 70s gatefold sleeve

My favourite work of 70s album cover packaging art. This is for “Be Good to Yourself at Least Once a Day”, by the Welsh group, Man.

The gatefold opens up to reveal a huge cartoon map of Wales, with a bunch of Welshmen using barge-poles to push their territory away from England, and the disc sleeve contains a detailed family tree of Welsh Pop & Rock bands, of which there were quite a few.

Nice music too, Prog Rock mixed with a bit of Funk, although the track “I like to eat Bananas (’cause they got no bones)” is a little on the silly side, as was typical of many otherwise earnest Rock albums from the era.
