For Stuff That Doesn't Fit Into 140 Characters Or Less
A procession of carved wooden heads in Newtown. Dozens of these heads, representing the amalgam of migrants who have been drawn to to the City of Gold over the generations, can be found in the area. Here and there I saws heads missing from their plinths, just bare metal rods protruding. But not many. The heads are a great example of an urban public art project that tells a story and beautifies walkways.
