Two things I learned after spending a while watching the wheels go round in Dodoma. One, people know how to use roundabouts here. There is hooting, but it’s the helpful, warning kind, rather than the brash, seething kind. The traffic ebbs and flows with a kind of knowing grace. Two, the clock on the tower overlooking the circle is broken.
