Africa, the mobile continent. 650-million phones, 1.1-billion people. We worry sometimes that mobiles disconnect people, that they alienate them from the real world and the real relationships around them. But mobiles are now as much a part of the real world as cars, planes, and computers. We’re connected to them, and through them, and they’re connected to us, as much as today is connected to tomorrow.
